two dumbos

Two Dumbos were trying to measure the height of a portable light pole.
They only had one measuring tape, and were getting quite frustrated trying to keep the tape along the pole. It kept falling down.
A young gentleman comes along, finds out their problem, and proceeds to remove the pole from the ground and measure it easily.
When he leaves, one dumbo says to the other: ” We want to know the height, and this fool gives us the length!”
